Terms of Service

Plain-language terms for using MatchMyNumber. The short version: it is for reflection and fun, payments are one-time, and you can ask for a refund within 14 days.

1. Who we are

MatchMyNumber (“we”, “us”) runs matchmynumber.com. You can reach us at [email protected]. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. What the service is

MatchMyNumber gives birthday readings in the 生命密码 (Life Code) numerology tradition. You enter a name and a date of birth, and the site works out a chart and describes how two charts sit together.

For reflection and entertainment. The readings describe tendencies according to a numerology tradition. They are not scientific findings, and they do not predict events. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or relationship advice. Please do not make an important decision on a reading alone. Different teachers read the same numbers differently, and ours is one reading.

3. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older to use MatchMyNumber. Please only enter a birthday for another person if you know them and are comfortable doing so.

4. Paid features

Some readings are free. Others open with a one-time payment. We show the price in the unlock window before you pay.
A payment is not a subscription. We do not renew it or charge you again.
Payments are handled by Gumroad. We never see or store your card details.
What each payment unlocks is described where you buy it. We may add new readings over time and may change what future purchases include. We will not remove something you have already paid for without a refund.
Prices may include or exclude local taxes depending on your location. The checkout shows the final amount.

5. Your data

How we handle your information is explained in the Privacy Policy. Please read it, in particular the part about invite links, which contain a birthday.

6. Using the site fairly

Do not copy, scrape or resell our readings, or try to break or overload the site.
Do not use the site to harass or embarrass someone. A shared invite message is sent by you, and you are responsible for what you send.
Do not claim our readings are a diagnosis, a professional opinion or a guarantee.

7. Our content

The text, design and software on this site belong to us or our licensors. You may use your own readings for personal use and share screenshots or share cards from the site. You may not republish the readings as your own product.

8. No guarantees

We work to keep the site available and the calculations correct, and the same two birthdays always give the same result. We do not promise that the site will always be available or that a reading will suit you. The site is provided “as is” to the extent the law allows.

9. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on a reading, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law that cannot be excluded, including consumer rights where you live, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the bottom of the page shows the latest version. If a change matters to you, such as a price or what a purchase includes, we will say so on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

11. Your local rights

Nothing in these terms takes away a right your local consumer law gives you, including going to your own courts.
